The terms of the agreement apply to ordering and performing tattoo services at Inspirit Tattoo. Inspirit Tattoo AS mediates tattoo services on behalf of the tattoo artist who performs the service. The terms of the agreement, together with your booking, booking confirmation and self-declaration of health, will constitute an overall agreement basis for the appointment agreement.
Definition of the parties
To get a tattoo done at Inspirit Tattoo you must:
Your appointment is binding when the order is registered with us. We are also bound by your appointment, unless it is canceled by you or us, read more about cancellation in point 3. Cancellation of tattoo appointments
We confirm your appointment by sending you a booking confirmation by sms and / or e-mail. Carefully read the booking confirmation when you receive it, and check if the booking confirmation is in accordance with the order.
We reserve the right to cancel appointments due to illness, technical failure and the like. We will let you know about this as soon as possible.
We also reserve the right to cancel tattoo appointments if you attend the appointment under the influence of alcohol or other drugs, or if you take drugs in advance or during the tattoo appointment, -or if the performance of the tattoo may pose a danger to your own or others’ health due to your condition. Tattoo appointments we have to cancel on the basis of such cases, you will be charged for, as you should understand that it may be important for the performance of the tattoo, and the risks associated with the tattoo.
One tattoo hour is counted as 50 minutes, the tattoo artist is entitled to a 10-minute break per hour.
The breaks can be used separately or merged
Cancellation of tattoo appointments, must be done no later than 48 hours before the appointment starts. Cancellation of hours can only be done by contacting the studio at firstname.lastname@example.org , or by contacting the studio by phone or social media.
If you cancel your tattoo appointments after the cancellation deadline has expired, you will be charged NOK 1,200 per. set hour.
Appointments booked outside the cancellation deadline can be canceled free of charge within 1 hour after the hour was booked.
Exceptions for cancellations after the deadline
If you are prevented from attending appointment due to illness, you are obliged to report to the studio as soon as you become aware of the symptoms. In the event of illness, a doctor’s statement must be presented within 7 working days from the first day of illness, you will then not be charged for the hour even if the cancellation was made after the cancellation deadline has expired.
Rebooking of tattoo appointments must be done no later than 48 hours before the appointment begins. Rebooking of appointments can only be done by contacting the studio at email@example.com or by contacting the studio by phone or social media.
It is not possible to rebook tattoo appointments after the rebooking deadline has expired.
The tattoo artist waits for 15 minutes, after which the customer is considered “not met” and is thus not entitled to the tattoo appointments. If you have given notice of a delay in advance, or provide information about the delay when we try to contact you, the tattoo artist waits for up to 50 minutes, if the appointment will not lead to a waiting time for other customers. You will be charged for an extra tattoo hour for the waiting time of the tattoo artist if the tattoo artist waits for more than 15 minutes.
In case of Absence from the tattoo appointment, you will be charged 1200 kroner per scheduled hour.
There may be waiting time. If the waiting time is longer than 30 minutes, the tattoo artist must notify you in advance of the appointment. The tattoo artist must state how long the waiting time will be, if the waiting time exceeds 60 minutes, you have the right to cancel the appointment without being charged for the appointment, you can also choose to arrange a new appointment, unless you agree to the waiting time. You will not be charged for the waiting time. Time spent designing the tattoo, or preparing the workstation is not counted as waiting time.
When entering into an appointment agreement, a non-refundable deposit of up to 50% of the recommended price must be paid, the deposit can still not be less than NOK 500 or more than NOK 4,000, it is the tattoo artist who determines the amount to be paid.
If canceled within the cancellation period, the deposit will be available as credit on your customer account for 12 months. If canceled after the cancellation period, absence from appointment or other breaches of the terms of the agreement may result in you losing the deposit. If the appointment was canceled by the tattoo artist due to illness, technical failure or the like, the deposit will be available as credit available on your customer account for 12 months.
The deposit is personal and can not be transferred to others.
Deposit by installment
An approved application for partial payment with Resurs bank does not require a deposit.
The purchase price can, at your own choice, at the end of the appointment be settled via bank or credit card, with cash or with partial payment (Resource account). When choosing partial payment (Resource account) as the method of payment, separate agreements must be entered into with Resurs Bank. We point out that the application for partial payment (Resource account) must be approved in advance of the tattoo appointment.
Paid deposit is deducted upon payment.
If canceled after the deadline or absence from appointment, you will be charged 1200 kroner per scheduled hour. Invoice is sent to your e-mail address. The invoice will automatically be sent with the due date on the same day as the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed with the tattoo artist.
If a deposit has been paid, the amounts paid will be deducted from the amount invoiced.
The deduction will be specified on the invoice.
In the event of non-payment, a collection notice will be sent. In the event of continued non-payment after the collection notice expires, the claim will be forwarded for collection.
If the tattoo artist is prevented from providing the service due to circumstances such as fire, war, mobilization or unforeseen military calls of a similar extent, seizures, riots, pandemics, measures taken by the authorities to prevent the spread of pandemics, or other incidents beyond the control of the parties, appointments will be postponed indefinitely.
In the event of illness, you are obliged to cancel your appointment or rebook your appointment as soon as you become aware of the symptoms. We reserve the right to cancel the appointment, if you attend the appointment with a fever or symptoms of a contagious disease. Tattoo appointments we have to cancel on the basis of such cases, you will be charged for, as you should understand the risk of infection and that the appointment should be canceled as soon as you became aware of the symptoms.
Disputes regarding the conditions and associated provisions, as well as disputes that otherwise concern appointment bookings, cancellations after deadlines and non-attendance of appointments follow Norwegian law and belong to the ordinary dispute resolution bodies and courts, with Stavanger District Court as venue for possible proceedings before the district court.
